Hallmarked 9ct Yellow Gold Forget Me Not Masonic Ring
Hallmarked 9ct Yellow Gold Forget Me Not Masonic Ring
Forget Me Not Masonic Ring — Hallmarked 9ct Yellow Gold
In early 1934, soon after Hitler’s rise to power, it became evident that Freemasonry was in grave danger. That same year, the Grand Lodge of the Sun — one of the pre-war German Grand Lodges, based in Bayreuth — adopted the little blue Forget-Me-Not flower as a secret substitute for the traditional Square and Compasses. The flower allowed Brethren to identify one another in public while avoiding detection by the Nazis, who were engaged in the wholesale persecution and suppression of Freemasonry across Germany.
Freemasonry went underground, and this delicate bloom became a symbol of quiet defiance — of a Brotherhood that endured through one of history’s darkest chapters. Today, the Forget-Me-Not remains one of the most poignant and meaningful symbols in all of Freemasonry.
This beautifully crafted ring honours that legacy. Hallmarked in 9ct yellow gold and set with a delicate blue enamel Forget-Me-Not flower at its centre, it is a piece of rare historical significance — as wearable today as it was courageous then. Sized for ladies, it makes an exceptional gift for a female Freemason or a cherished keepsake for any Brother who knows the story.
